Office Depot and Staples Reward Cards often send you coupons and/or certificates for your purchases. Please consider donating your reward coupons and/or certificates to Shining Light to be used towards the purchase of copier paper and office supplies which are used all throughout the year for the students and staff. Also, let your extended family know about this opportunity in case they would like to donate their reward coupons and/or certificates as well.
Box Tops Box Tops for Education is a simple and easy way for you to help earn money for Shining Light Academy. Each Box Top you clip and send to school earns $0.10 for our school! You’d be surprised how much cash for our school is sitting in your refrigerator and pantry right now. Imagine how many Box Tops we could have if all of our parents collected them and had their families, friends & churches collecting them as well. The possibilities are endless! There are three easy ways to collect Box Tops: 1. Clip – Clip the pink Box Tops from all General Mills brands, such as Betty Crocker, Nestle, Hefty, Ziploc, Pillsbury, Green Giant, and Huggies. Go to www.btfe.com for a complete list of Box Tops participating products. 2. Join – Register with Box Tops online (www.btfe.com) to earn eBoxTops, win Bonus Box Tops, and receive monthly coupons for Box Tops brands. Be sure you sign up to support Shining Light Academy. Joining only takes a few minutes. Once you’ve joined, you can email any questions you may have to the SLA Box Tops Coordinator, Mrs. Michelle King, directly from the Box Tops website. 3. Bonus Box Tops – Be on the lookout for retailers who offer Bonus Box Tops when you purchase certain items from their store. These are typically advertised in retail flyers weekly. Throughout the year, classes will compete to see who can bring in the most Box Tops so keep sending them in as you collect them.
Ongoing: Link Your Harris Teeter Card
You can help SLA earn money by allowing us to link your Target, Harris Teeter and Food Lion store card numbers to our school (linking is required yearly). Each time you use your card it saves you money and the store contributes a percentage of your purchase to SLA at no cost to you. There was a section on your child’s enrollment form to sign up for this but if you haven’t already signed up, please call the school office to do so or respond to this email advising you would like for us to link your cards for you. All information will be kept confidential at SLA. Also, let your extended family know about this opportunity in case they would like to sign up as well. It’s an easy way to help support our school.
