At Shining Light Academy, our goal is to provide a well-rounded, Christian education for K–12 students from High Point, North Carolina. As a Christian academy, we emphasize biblical teaching and weaving a Christian approach into each subject so that students have the knowledge and adopt the values that they need for life, not just a career.
We place a strong focus on academics, using curricula that center around practical teaching and intensive phonics for elementary students and critical thinking and creativity for middle to high school students. Our students excel academically, consistently scoring above the national and state averages on standardized tests. We also have excellent athletics and arts programs to round out our students’ educations and encourage their unique skills and talents.
