The summer months often bring plenty of fun. Splashing in a swimming pool, exploring the hiking and biking trails, taking trips, and playing outdoors are some of the activities that many kids and teens in the Asheboro, North Carolina, area enjoy throughout this time of the year. However, as a parent of a child or teenager, you may also hear some complaining about boredom. When kids are out of school for the break, their routines change, and they may struggle to get out and participate in activities. At Shining Light Academy, we would love to welcome your child into our summer camp. We provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for children from age three to fifth grade, hosting them from 7:30 AM until 6 PM. You can focus on what you need to get done without worrying about whether your kids are being cared for or kept safe.

Summer camp runs throughout the season, with options to come every day or week to week to accommodate different schedules and needs. Plus, daily lunch and a snack are included in the price.

Summer Camp starts on Tuesday, May 26th and runs all summer (with the exception of July 4th) to August 7th.
Here are some other things to know about our summer camp:
- We accept children from age 3 to 5th grade.
- Summer Camp Hours are 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
- The weekly fee includes lunches and an afternoon snack. No need to worry about packing anything.
- Also included in the weekly fee are off-site field trips and on-site instructional shows, usually two a week!
- We offer additional child discounts for families with multiple children.
- Summer camp also generally includes a variety of field trips your child won’t want to miss!
- Rates are: $160 per week, $200 registration fee (non refundable)
