We offer a variety of after-school programs for our students.
Part of receiving a high-quality education is participating in extracurricular activities like sports and the arts. These activities help students learn leadership skills, teamwork, outside-the-box thinking, and how to be creative. We want our students to get the best education possible at Shining Light Academy, and we are proud to say that we have after-school programs that aid in that goal.
Our after-school programs include seven different sports at all different levels. For girls’ teams, we offer volleyball, basketball, and soccer, while boys’ teams include soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. Our athletic programs offer opportunities for students to not only take care of their physical health but also to strive for excellence, which is certainly something our athletic programs embody, seeing as we have won six state championships in three years. We are proud of our athletes’ achievements and encourage them to push themselves.
Fine arts are also an essential part of our after-school programs. For students drawn to painting, drawing, and other types of art, our program can help them learn new skills and build on their existing skills. We also offer drama for those interested in acting and music for those who would like to play an instrument or sing.
