For many students, school is a place where they can learn how to be the best versions of themselves through not only the knowledge they gain but also the skills they’re able to practice through after-school programs. Whether those programs are arts- or sports-focused, students can reach their full potential with a strong extracurricular program to rely on. At Shining Light Academy, in the Kernersville, North Carolina area, our team is focused on helping our students receive the well-rounded education they deserve, and a big part of that is the after-school programs we offer.
Our sports teams have won many state titles, and our arts program is well-recognized as well. In fact, along with our faith-based curriculum, our after-school programs are one of the many reasons why parents choose our academy for their children. Our students can try out for our athletic teams starting in fifth grade. Some of the options we offer are basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
Additionally, our arts program not only gives our students the ability to grow artistically but also the confidence they need to reach their goals. Plus, they can take advantage of private lessons to further their skills. Ultimately, our hope is to help our students find their voice and enjoy participating in activities that bring out the best in them.
Shining Light Academy Welcomes You to Come For a Tour
In addition to our sports and arts programs, we also offer an after-school care program for students who are younger or haven’t quite decided if our other programs are a good fit. That program is available from 3 pm–6 pm daily and 12 pm–4 pm on half days for only $8 a day.
