We offer excellent summer camp options for students.

At Shining Light Academy, we believe in impacting the community positively, especially the rising generation. We realize that discipleship and a lifelong love of learning extend beyond the school year, which is why we proudly offer summer camp options to students here in the High Point, North Carolina area.

Why should you send your child to summer camp? And specifically, why should your child attend one of our summer camps? Here are just a few reasons:

Spiritual growth – Our summer camps provide a focused environment for children to grow in their faith. While attending summer camp, your child will have fun while engaging in Bible studies, worship, prayer, and activities that help them understand and deepen their relationship with God.

Moral and character development – Our summer camps emphasize biblical teachings on honesty, kindness, respect, and compassion. These values can guide children in making good decisions and developing a strong moral compass.

Lifelong friendship building – At our summer camps, children will meet peers who share their faith and interests, fostering deep, lasting friendships. These connections help children build strong social skills and a sense of community.

Physical and mental health – Our summer camps often involve the outdoors and sports that encourage physical activity and teamwork.

Summer Camp starts on Tuesday, May 27th and runs all summer (with the exception of July 4th) to August 1st.

Here are some other things to know about our summer camp:

We accept children from age 3 to 5th grade.
Summer Camp Hours are 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
The weekly fee includes lunches and an afternoon snack. No need to worry about packing anything.
Also included in the weekly fee are off-site field trips and on-site instructional shows, usually two a week!
We offer additional child discounts for families with multiple children.
Summer camp also generally includes a variety of field trips your child won’t want to miss!
There is also an option to pay a daily rate for up to 3 days a week if that is better for your needs.
Rates are: $150 per week, $200 registration fee (non refundable)
