If it’s time to choose the school your child will be going to, you will want to do all the necessary research about your local private schools and public schools to make the best decision for them. Here are three things to consider when deciding between private and public schools.

3 Things to Consider When Deciding Between Private Schools and Public Schools

  1. Consider their learning style and social comfort: When deciding between private school or public school, you will want to consider your child’s learning style. Do they learn best as part of a larger group, or do they need more individual attention and tailored lesson plans to better match their learning style and any difficulties they may have? The latter may be hard to achieve in a public school setting, but our private Christian school allows our students to thrive in smaller class sizes with the level of attention and learning styles they need to learn and succeed.
  1. Consider the environment: While the environment of a public school can foster social growth and development in diversity, things might seem and feel a bit out of control at times due to the student-to-teacher ratio. In a private school, we have better control over the social and learning environment. We work hard to create and maintain a peaceful and welcoming environment where we make each student feel important and like family as they build positive relationships with peers and teachers.
  1. Consider the principles and values you’d like them to learn: There are many great things that can be taught in public schools. In our specific private school, however, we can ensure your children will be taught Christian principles and values from faith-based learning and plenty of opportunity for spiritual growth.
